CJ Graphics Inc. named a finalist in the 2019 PAC Global Leadership Awards for the Revolution 81 Packaging, produced using C.J.’s Scodix Ultra Pro

> February 5, 2019 CJ Graphics Inc. Awards, News

The PAC Global Leadership awards are an international competition that celebrate craftsmanship in global brand design with a vision to showcase the power of packaging. Winners of the awards positively impact business performance, enhance brand value, prioritize sustainability, highlight innovation and celebrate collaboration. A panel of 66 judges from 12 different nations review the entries, with the winners of each category celebrated at the One of 100 Summit held in New York City, February 26th 2019.

C.J. collaborated with Mississauga design agency Bridgemark, and brand owners Radical Road Brewing Co. (Toronto) and the Malivoire Wine Company (Beamsville), to produce the striking and unique packaging for Revolution 81, a French-Belgian style biere de garde. This ruby coloured ale has undergone 3 distinct fermentations during its production, the final pitch with a Champagne yeast, creating a delicate effervescence.  Revolution 81 was released last April in a limited run of boxed 750mL bottles, available at Radical Road’s Leslieville (Queen Street East) brewpub.

The exquisite packaging, featuring Scodix Ultra Pro Gold and White foil on a black stock, has been nominated as one of only nine finalists in the New Brand: Food and Beverage category of the awards – one of the most hotly contested awards in the competition.  Official winners list for the 2019 PAC Global Leadership awards will be posted February 27th, the day after the awards ceremony in New York City.
